Masonry Cavity Wall Insulation & Damp Proofing

NCFI’s SPF insulation (Spray Polyurethane Foam insulation) is a reactive, two-part liquid, spray-applied by professional installers. The result is a highly efficient air barrier and vapor diffusion retarder (VDR). Our high density, closed-cell spray insulation also results in higher R-values per unit thickness than can be achieved with any other type of commercially available insulation. NCFI InsulBloc® is a 2.0 lb/cu ft density, closed-cell foam. Trained applicators apply it as a liquid to the masonry block wall. The foam reacts, expands, and cures in-place, forming a seamless insulating and damp proofing membrane. Masons install brick facing over the foam. Standard anchors tie brick facing to the block wall.
